Trader Joe’s Chicken Parmesan Ravioli Bake (“Chicken Parm-ioli”)

I adapted this Trader Joe’s Chicken Parmesan Ravioli Bake from a recipe on the Trader Joe’s website called Chicken Parm-oili and I will admit, my family was TOTALLY skeptical when I made this! Chicken nuggets?? Ravoli?? HUH? It took one bite to win them over! This family favorite uses only 5 ingredients and has a 5 minute prep time! #winning

Anytime I can make dinner with FIVE minutes of prep time and hardly any clean up time is a huge WIN in my book!

This recipe is what I like to call a lazy girl’s chicken parm! Yes, it SOUNDS weird when you read the ingredients but TRUST ME–this will become a family favorite and you are going to love how hassle-free it is to make!

Serve this up with a nice green salad, arugula salad, or some crusty garlic bread!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 22-25 oz. jars of your favorite TJ's marinara or pasta sauce
  • 1 10 oz. package Trader Joe's Ravioli I used this 4-cheese ravioli
  • 1 12 oz. package TJ's frozen chicken nuggets I used these but feel free to use any kind of breaded chicken nuggets. Yes, you can bake them right from frozen in this recipe!
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese or 4 oz. fresh mozzarella (sliced)
  • 1 tsp oregano

Instructions
 

  • Prep: Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Begin Layering: In an 8×8 baking dish (or 2 1/2 quart dish), spread about 1/2 cup of your marinara sauce down to cover the bottom of the dish. Then, layer on HALF of the ravioli. Spread on another 1/2 cup to 1 cup of the sauce over the ravioli. Spread sauce evenly.
  • Continue Layering: Top the ravioli with the chicken nuggets in an even layer. Spread another 1/2 cup to 1 cup of sauce over the chicken. Last, add the remaining ravioli and spread the remaining sauce over the top.
  • Add Cheese & Bake: Sprinkle on the cheese and oregano all over the top. Place in your preheated oven and bake for 30-40 minutes until bubbly and the chicken nuggets are heated through.
    Tip: If the cheese starts to brown too much, cover the baking dish with foil.
