Where are my snackers?!

I’m a snacker–you too? Trader Joe’s is a snack HAVEN (heaven?) and when I went to write this post, I realized if I added EVERYTHING I wanted to, you’d be here reading this for several hours…there are just SO MANY GOOD TRADER JOE’S SNACKS!

So I painfully shortened the list to the best of the best and categorized them…because sometimes you feel like something sweet, other times, salty…and when you’re working on your summer body (ahem), you might need some high protein and low-calorie options. You’re welcome, summer bod!

The Best Salty Snacks

Elote Chips

I can’t get enough of these–the seasoning is tangy, but not too salty! They’re GREAT on their own, with dip, or crushed up in salads!

Rolled Chili Lime Chips

The #1 Trader Joe’s customer fave last year with good reason–they are addictingly tangy and crunchy, with a hint of spice.

Many Things Snack Mix

Just like Chex Mix…but better!

Buffalo Style Almonds

If you like spice, you have to try these!!! Salty and tangy with just the right amount of spice!

Everything Bagel Sandwich Crackers

We LOVE TJ’s cheese and peanut butter sandwich crackers but these might be my favorite! If you love Everything Bagel seasoning, you can’t miss these.

Sesame Sticks

These are a dark house, let me tell you! They’re always on the BOTTOM shelf in the chip/snack area! They are crunchy, and have a nice toasty flavor. They are great in trail mixes and salad for something just “a little different!”

Veggies and Greek Yogurt Dip

TJ’s has so many different Greek yogurt dips–I love the Everything Bagel and the Elote Dip. They both pair well with carrots, cucumbers, and mini bell peppers!

Egg Bites

Each container contains 2 egg bites and about 11g of protein. They are DELISH! Just pop them in the microwave for about a minute.

Barebells Protein Bars

Hands down, our favorite protein bars. It’s almost like a candy bar but with no added sugar. Each bar has about 20g of protein and most are nut-free.


1 cup of edamame has about 16 grams of protein making it a great high-protein option! They typically sell both shelled and unshelled versions in the Trader Joes freezer section.

Perfect Bar (refrigerated section)

These bars are a “new to me” find since I never look for protein bars in the refrigerated section! Each bar has about 15-20g of protein making it a great option. The only downside–they do have added sugar.

Protein Palette

It doesn’t get easier than this–the Trader Joe’s Protein Palette is like a mini charcuterie! Salami, Parmesan crisps, and almonds are all included and the pack has a whopping 31g of protein!

Multigrain Pita Crackers and Laughing Cow Cheese

I can’t tell you how obsessed I am with the multigrain pita crackers + Laughing Cow cheese combo! The crackers are super sturdy and can stand up to soft dips and cheeses. 10 crackers + 2 wedges of Laughing Cow is a solid, under-200 calorie snack.

Hummus and Mini Bell Peppers

Trader Joe’s mini bell peppers are PERFECT for dipping into hummus! A handful of mini bells and 2 tbsp of Trader Joe’s organic hummus is around 100 calories. Score!


SOOOOO many good popcorn options at Trader Joe’s! I love the one with herbs and spices in the green bag. Two cups comes in around 140 calories.

English Muffin and Greek Yogurt Guacamole

Sometimes you need some carbs! Trader Joe’s whole wheat English muffins, slathered with their Greek yogurt guacamole is a great option! Half an English muffin + 2 tbsp of guac comes out to less than 100 calories!

String Cheese and Turkey

Perfect little pairing! Wrap 2 pieces of TJ’s turkey around 1 piece of string cheese and you have a nice little under-100-calorie snack!

Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

Hands down, my favorite TJ’s “sweet snack.” Addicting, but just the right size 🙂

Dark Chocolate Bark

Speaking of dark chocolate, these thin pieces of chocolate are mixed with nuts and pretzels for the most amazing combo! The sprinkle of sea salt over the top takes it…well, over the top!

Gluten-Free Muffins

No one is g-free at my house and we all swoon over these muffins–ANY flavor is delish. When they have the strawberry (spring/summer), we always stock up!

Cinnamon Graham Crackers

Perfectly sweet and cinnamon-y! Love the coarse sugar! Perfect for dunking in milk.

Smore’s Clusters

You can’t eat just one, trust me. This reminds me a bit of the old-time Rocky Road bars without the nuts. A soft marshmallow sits on a crisp graham cracker layer, and the whole thing is coated in a thin milk chocolate coating. Pro Tip: Pop them in the microwave for about 5 seconds…amazing!

Scandinavian Swimmers

These are just downright addicting. And the best part–no artificial colors! They are all colored with natural colors from fruits and vegetables.
