BAGEL BRUNCH BOARD INGREDIENT IDEAS

There are 4 main “categories” to include on your bagel brunch board… but remember, it’s YOUR board so mix and match however you like!

  • Bagels (of course): I like to include 3 types of bagels: Plain, savory (Everything Bagel), and sweet (raisin). I LOVE using the mini bagels if you can find them.
  • Spreads & Cheeses: Cream cheese is the obvious choice, but soft cheeses like brie and goat cheese work, too! Trader Joe’s has SO many cheeses that are perfect with bagels.
  • Fruit/Veggies: Persian cucumbers (small), melon, strawberries, blueberries, oranges, grapes, sliced tomatoes, red onion, and pickled veggies.
  • Condiments: Honey, hot honey, jam, grainy mustard, Chili Onion Crunch, capers.
  • Meats: Smoked salmon, salami, and prosciutto are great choices.

HOW TO MAKE A TRADER JOE’S BAGEL BRUNCH BOARD: STEP-BY-STEP

Assembling your brunch board is a lot more simple than you think! Use a large board–such as a wooden cutting board. You can also grab a “scrap” marble slab at the home improvement store! To assemble the board:

  • First, lay out your different types of bagels around the board.
  • Next, add any condiments you have in bowls or small dishes, including cream cheese.
  • Then, add your meats, veggies, and fruit.
  • Place any “overflow” items (such as extra bagels or fruit) in colorful bowls around the board.
  • Last, add a few spoons, tongs, and butter knives around the board and you’re ready to go!
