The Trader Joe’s Thai Wheat Noodles are a cult fave! At my store, they aren’t always available, so I snag several boxes whenever I see them!

For $2.99, they are SOOOO much cheaper than the udon noodles you buy at the “regular” grocery store…and more tasty, too!

There are so many ways to make this Thai Wheat Noodles stir fry recipe, but one thing is for certain–there MUST be Crunchy Chili Onion involved!!!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground turkey (you can also use ground beef, chicken, or pork)
  • 1 21oz. package Trader Joe's Thai Wheat Noodles use all 3 packages inside the box
  • 2-3 cups fresh or frozen veggies

For the sauce

  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Chili Onion Crunch
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

Instructions

  • Prep: In a small bowl or measuring cup, whisk together sauce ingredients.
  • Cook Meat: In a large non-stick skillet over medium heat, cook ground turkey (or whatever ground meat you like) for 3-4 minutes until cooked through. Break the meat up with a spoon as it cooks.
  • Add: Add the three packages of noodles to the meat. With tongs, gently break apart the noodles. As they cook, they will become more pliable and easier to separate. Cook the noodles for 2-3 minutes until they are broken apart and heated through.
  • Add & Toss: Add veggies and sauce. Toss well until the noodles, meat, and veggies are well-coacted with the sauce.
  • Finish: Cover the pan with a lid (or a baking sheet if your pan doesn't have a lid), and allow the veggies to cook for 1-2 minutes or until they reach your desired tenderness. Serve right away with more Chili Onion Crunch on top!
