To my kids it’s literally #bestweekendeva when they wake up on Saturday morning to a batch of these. I had to make these a few times to get the recipe perfect so poor them, they had to be my taste testers. Life is rough.

I made the glaze a few different ways, but decided on these two because I feel like they were the easiest and best tasting. This recipe is all about quick and EASY!! If you want another super easy family friendly sweet treat, you HAVE to try my Easy Granny Cake!

How to make air fryer biscuit doughnuts: The Game Plan

I love giving you a “game plan” or “order of operations” to make recipes so they come together super quickly and help you make the best use of your time. Fortunately, this recipe is so stinking simple there’s not much of a game plan!

  • Preheat air fryer to 350 or let it come to temperature if you do’t have a preheat setting.
  • With a one-inch biscuit cutter, make holes in “doughnuts.” If you don’t have a one inch biscuit cutter, you can probably find something around the house that is approximately one inch in diameter. I have used both an icing tip and a random ring my kids had. HA! Be creative!
  • Air fry doughnuts.
  • While doughnuts are in the air fryer, make the glaze or glazes.
  • Allow doughnuts to cool 5-10 minutes then dip in glaze and top with sprinkles!

Recipe notes & tips

  • I have used a few different brands of refrigerated biscuit dough and they are all fine, but I found regular old Pillsbury Grands works the best!
  • Cooking time may depend a bit on your air fryer. Just look for a nice, light golden color.
  • There are SO MANY ways to “decorate” these doughnuts! Another great way is to brush them lightly with melted butter when they come out of the oven, then toss them in cinnamon and sugar!
  • Don’t forget to “fry” up with doughnut holes! They are usually done in about 3-4 minutes!

  1. Welp…adding biscuits to my shopping list now. These sound SO much easier than traditional donuts and chocolate glazed is my all time favorite variety. The kids are going to love these too!
