Trader Joe’s Chicken Ranch Wrap
This Trader Joe’s Chicken Ranch Wrap might be my new favorite quick and easy dinner idea! Chicken, cheese, avocado, and a tangy sauce are wrapped in a tortilla and “grilled” for a few minutes so each bite is crispy and delicious! This crispy chicken wrap is perfect for busy weeknights and eating on the go!

You’ll need the following ingredients to make this yummy Trader Joe’s Chicken Ranch Wrap:
INGREDIENT NOTES & SUBSTITUTIONS
Cooked Chicken: Trader Joe’s has so many cooked chicken options. The grilled chicken strips are my favorite (they also have a frozen version). Any leftover chicken you have on hand, or even rotisserie chicken works great, too.
Garlic Jalapeno Sauce: I LOVE this sauce and although it says “hot sauce,” it’s fairly mild if you can handle a little spice! When I make this for the kids, I substitute BBQ sauce.
Ranch Dressing: My ride-or-die ranch is Trader Joe’s Buttermilk Ranch (in the produce section). It has a thinner texture than most ranch and is very herb-forward. Think of a ranch dressing you’d get at a steak house
Feel free to use your favorite ranch dressing if this one isn’t your thing.
Casey’s Top Tip: When “grilling” your wraps, make sure the heat is turned to medium-low so these cheese has time to get nice and melty!

Trader Joe’s Chicken Ranch Wrap
Ingredients
- 3 cups Trader Joe's Grilled Chicken or "Just Chicken" strips, chopped any leftover chicken works great, too!
- 1/4 cup Trader Joe's Buttermilk Ranch or your favorite ranch dressing
- 1/4 cup Trader Joe's Chunky Garlic and Jalapeno Sauce or BBQ sauce
- 3 cups Monterey jack or cheddar cheese
- 2 ripe avocados, diced
- 4 10 inch tortillas or similar size
- olive oil or cooking spray
Instructions
- Make chicken filling: In a medium bowl, add chicken, ranch, hot sauce/BBQ sauce, and cheese. Mix well to combine.
- Fill tortillas: Microwave each tortilla for about 10-15 seconds to make them more pliable. Lay each tortilla flat and add about ¾ cup of the chicken filling. Sprinkle on your diced avocado. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll tightly.
- Heat the Wraps: Heat a skillet to medium-low. Brush each wrap on both sides with olive oil or spritz with cooking spray. Place each wrap in the skillet (I like to use a large skillet and cook at least 2 wraps at a time). Brown the wraps for about 3 minutes on each side until crisp and browned on the outside. Make sure the heat is on medium-low so the cheese has a chance to melt. Cut in half and serve!
