Trader Joe’s Granola Berry Crisp
Ingredients
For the topping
- 2 cups Trader Joe's Vanilla Almond Granola can substitute your favorite granola
- 1 tbsp butter, softened
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
For the berries
- 1 16 oz. bag of frozen berries
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- Cooking spray
- Trader Joe's vanilla ice cream, for serving
Instructions
- Prep granola: Preheat oven to 350°. In a medium bowl, combine granola, softened butter, and brown sugar. With clean hands (or a spoon), toss the granola mixture so it’s evenly coated with the softened butter and brown sugar. Set aside.
- Prep berries: In a large bowl, toss frozen berries with brown sugar, cornstarch, vanilla, lemon juice, and sea salt. Spread evenly into an 8×8 baking dish (or similar). You can also mix everything right in the baking dish.
- Add and bake: Sprinkle the granola evenly over the berry mixture. Spritz generously with cooking spray. Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes until the berries are bubbly and granola is slightly brown on top. Allow the dish to rest for about 5 minutes, then and serve with TJ’s vanilla ice cream.
