This Trader Joe's granola berry crisp is a quick and super easy dessert! Frozen berries and vanilla almond granola are used to make this satisfying sweet treat, however there are so many ways to customize it and make it your own! One thing is for certain, you can't forget a big scoop of vanilla ice cream over the top!
2cups Trader Joe's Vanilla Almond Granolacan substitute your favorite granola
1tbspbutter, softened
2tbspbrown sugar
For the berries
116 oz. bag of frozen berries
2tbspbrown sugar
1 tbsp corn starch
1tbsplemon juice
1tbsp vanilla
1/4 tspsea salt
Cooking spray
Trader Joe's vanilla ice cream, for serving
Instructions
Prep granola: Preheat oven to 350°. In a medium bowl, combine granola, softened butter, and brown sugar. With clean hands (or a spoon), toss the granola mixture so it’s evenly coated with the softened butter and brown sugar. Set aside.
Prep berries: In a large bowl, toss frozen berries with brown sugar, cornstarch, vanilla, lemon juice, and sea salt. Spread evenly into an 8x8 baking dish (or similar). You can also mix everything right in the baking dish.
Add and bake: Sprinkle the granola evenly over the berry mixture. Spritz generously with cooking spray. Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes until the berries are bubbly and granola is slightly brown on top. Allow the dish to rest for about 5 minutes, then and serve with TJ’s vanilla ice cream.
