Trader Joe's Cheeseburger Salad with Magnifisauce

Casey Rooney
This Trader Joe's Cheeseburger Salad is yet another excuse to use the TJ's Magnifisauce! I'm obsessed!! This salad just deconstructs a traditional cheeseburger (minus the carbs!!), so feel free to use whatever "toppings" you would traditionally put on your cheeseburger! It comes together super quickly for an easy lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

For the beef

  • 1 lb. ground beef OR 4 frozen burger patties
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 EACH, sea salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

For the salad

  • 1 package, or (3) hearts of romaine, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2-1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2-1 cup pickles, chopped
  • Trader Joe's Magnifisauce see more uses to this sauce here!

Instructions

  • Brown meat: In a skillet, add ground beef and cook for  3-4 minutes until browned. Break up the meat with a wooden spoon as it cooks. (I like using a potato masher during the last minute to get the meat broken up nice and fine.
If you are using frozen burger patties, I like to air fry them or cook them in the oven. When they're done, chop them into bite-size pieces and season with garlic powder, onion powder, and salt/pepper.
  • Add spices: Add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt/pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine and cook one minute more.
  • Assemble: To a large serving bowl or individual bowls, add romaine, cheese, pickles, onions, cherry tomatoes, and avocado (if using). Top with the ground beef mixture and drizzle on lots of  Magnifisauce. Toss and enjoy!
