This easy Trader Joe's Philly cheesesteak is made with Trader Joe’s shaved beef steak, melty provolone, and sautéed peppers and onions, and is the perfect weeknight comfort food—no trip to Philly required!
Cook Beef: In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. When the oil is hot, add shaved beef. Season meat with 1 tsp. sea salt and 2 tsp. 21 Salute Seasoning blend. Cook the beef for 3-4 minutes, breaking it up with tongs as it cooks. When the beef is no longer pink, transfer it to a plate and cover with foil to keep warm.
Cook Veggies: In the same hot skillet, add pepper and onions. Season with the remaining 1 tsp. of salt. Turn the heat down to medium-low and cook the veggies fo 8-10 minutes until soft.
Add: When the veggies are cooked, add meat (plus all of the juices from the plate!) back to the skillet and toss the meat with the veggies. Place 4 slices of provolone cheese over the top of the meat/veggie mixture. Cover the skillet (if you don't have a lid, you can use a baking sheet) and let the cheese melt for about one minute.
Finish: While the cheese is melting, warm your hoagie rolls in the microwave. You can also toast them in the oven if you have extra time. Pile the meat/veggie and cheese mixture into your warmed rolls and serve right away!
