These Trader Joe's Turkey Chili Sweet Potatoes are a protein+ nutrient-packed meal! It's super simple and easy to customize based on everyone's favorite toppings!
Your favorite toppings: sour cream/cottage cheese, shredded cheese, scallions/chives
Instructions
Bake up your sweet potatoes (about 425°F for 45-50 minutes). I like making mine in the slow cooker--wash them and place them in your slow cooker for 3-4 hours on HIGH until fork-tender.
In a large skillet, brown ground turkey. Add chili and stir until heated through.
Slice open the sweet potatoes and pile them with the chili mixture, sour cream, scallions, and all of your favorite toppings!
