This Caesar chicken bake might be the easiest dinner you'll make all week! With only 5 main ingredients, and 5 minutes of prep time, this is one of those dinners you NEED to have on hand when you just don't feel like cooking! It's easy, cheesy, and a total family-friendly fave!
Prep: Preheat oven to 375°. If the chicken breasts aren’t of equal thickness, pound them out to ensure even cooking. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and sprinkle both sides with garlic powder and pepper.
Add the dressing: Spoon the Caesar dressing over the chicken breasts (you can use more or less depending on your preference) and spread the dressing until it evenly coats the chicken.
Step 3: Place the cheese slices over the top of the chicken.
Add croutons: Place the croutons in a plastic bag and crush them with a meat mallet until they are broken into smaller crumbs/pieces. Sprinkle the croutons over the cheese and spritz the top generously with cooking spray.
Bake: Bake at 375°F for 30-40 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of at least 165°F. Start checking around the 30 minute mark so the chicken doesn't overcook. If the croutons aren’t golden brown, broil for 2-3 minutes. Allow the chicken to cool for a minute or two and serve right away. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley or Parmesan cheese, if you like.
