1tbspcornstarchoptional
Instructions
Add steak to crockpot.
Whisk together ginger, garlic, soy sauce, water, brown sugar and cornstarch (if using); pour sauce over meat.
Cook on HIGH for 3-4 hours or LOW 5-6 hours until meat is tender and sauce has thickened (if using corn starch).
A few minutes before you are ready to serve, stir in carrots.
Garnish with scallions and serve over rice or noodles.
Notes
I like stirring in the carrots at the very end so they don't get soggy.Cooking time is about 3 hours on high and 5 hours on low. You don't want to overcook this one because the meat will. be dry.
