Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Trader Joe's All-Natural Shaved Beef Steak
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 tsp seasoning salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 Trader Joe's brioche buns
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • olive oil

Instructions

  • Cook Veggies: In a large skillet (with a lid, if possible), heat a little olive oil. When the oil is hot, add onion and bell pepper. Cook for 4-5 minutes until veggies are soft. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • Cook Beef: In the same skillet, add a bit more oil. When the oil is hot, add the shaved steak. Use tongs to spread the steak out in an even layer. Cook for 3-4 minutes until no longer pink. Then, season with seasoning salt, garlic powder, and pepper.
  • Add: Add the cooked veggies back into the pan and stir to combine. Place the 4 slices of cheese over the top of the beef and veggie mixture. Turn off the heat, and cover the pan with a lid for about a minute until the cheese melts.
**If you don't have a skillet with a lid, you can just use a cookie sheet to cover the pan.
  • Finish: While the cheese is melting, toast your buns (I just use the toaster, but you can toast them up in the oven, too). Pile beef/veggie/cheese mixture onto toasted buns and serve right away!
