Ingredients

  • 1 baguette See Note 1
  • 1/2 cup salted butter, softened See Note 2
  • 2 garlic cloves, grated/minced the best garlic chopper!
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1-2 tso chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt or coarse salt for sprinkling (optional)

Instructions

Air Fryer Instructions (See Note 2)

  • Preheat air fryer to 350°F. If your air fryer doesn't have a preheat setting, just set it to 350°F and let it come to temperature for 3-5 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, mix butter, garlic, garlic powder, Parmesan cheese, and parsley, if using. Mash together with a fork until well combined; set aside.
  • With a serrated knife, slice baguette in half. Then, cut into thick 1 inch slices, but DO NOT cut all the way through the bread loaf. You want to hold all of that glorious garlic butter in the baugette! (See Note 3)
  • Slather garlic butter mixture inside the bread slices. Be generous! Spread any remaining garlic butter on top of the bread. Then, wrap the baguette in aluminum foil.
  • Air fry for 10-12 minutes until warmed through. Remove from air fryer, sprinkle with fresh parsley and sea salt, if desired. Slice through and enjoy immediately (See Note 4).

Oven Instuctions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Follow instructions 2-4 above.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley and sea salt. Slice through and enjoy immediately (See Note 4).

Notes

Note 1: Depending on the size of your air fryer, cut your baguette in pieces that fit your air fryer.
Note 2: Unsalted butter is just fine, too. Just add a pinch of sea salt to your garlic butter mixture.
Note 3: Feel free to cut your baguette to fit your air fryer!
Note 4: Wrapping the garlic bread baguette in foil makes soft, buttery garlic bread. If you like your bread a bit more crispy, bake/air fry according to instructions. Then, unwrap the baguette and continue baking or air frying for 2-5 minutes or until desired crispiness is reached. You can also broil for 2-3 minutes in the oven.
