Season chicken, cook 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Transfer chicken to a plate and cover tightly with aluminum foil.

In the same skillet melt butter. Add onions and cook 1-2 minutes. Add flour and chicken broth. Stir in the heavy cream then stir in chives, Italian seasoning, sundried tomatoes, and minced garlic.
